Burri made his way in the photography industry by getting his photos published in popular political magazine LIFE, which is a major development for a majority of photographers. He has had a multitude of exhibitions and pusblished his work in many books. Burri joined the Magnum Photo Agency in 1955 and became part of one of the largest collectives of brilliant and talented photographers.
